FUN MATH PRACTICE CURRICULUM
Sick and tired of the routine polynomials and angle chasing in math classes and competitions? Intrigued by a cool math topic that we haven't taught before? Or even one that many don't even know is part of math?
Members can propose Fun Math Practice curricula to be used during one of the actual sessions! This should include a handout with the particular concept being taught (at least 2 full pages with a reasonably sized font), worked out examples, and problem sets. For an adequate and approved curriculum, you will receive 1 point. However, before you start, you must send us an email with a detailed proposal listing the particular topic and an outline of examples that will be worked out. If your proposal is not approved, you will not be permitted to create the curriculum and receive the appropriate points.
If you would like, you may also request to present this at a FMP for another 1.5 points; however, there is no guarantee that your request will be approved.
Refer to the documents below for the quality and detail we expect in the curriculum.
